Gorilla Capital invests in Standas
Gorilla Capital Fund III has made its 68th investment in Standas, a Swedish company that helps municipalities prevent crime.
Introducing Standas
Swedish municipalities have a legal responsibility to work to prevent crime. Many lack the right tools to coordinate this work across departments.
Standas is a knowledge partner for municipalities. It combines a digital platform for structured reporting, AI-supported case analysis, decision support and secure information sharing with training and ongoing support from experts. The founders have direct experience of working on organised crime and complex investigations.
Standas was founded in 2026 by Christina Wenngren, CEO, and Linus Dahlström, and is part of the Lenera Group portfolio. Learn more at standas.se.
Founder's view
“Municipalities now carry legal responsibility for crime prevention, but responsibility alone doesn’t change anything on the ground. Standas gives them a way to see the patterns early and act together across departments. Gorilla Capital brings experience in growing software companies, and that is exactly what we need as we take Standas to more municipalities,” says Tommy Jarnemark, Founding Partner, Lenera Group, and Chairman, Standas
Gorilla's view
“Criminal networks have become skilled at working on the edge of what is legal, for example through building, planning and permit applications. Municipalities have lacked a shared way to spot this and act on it across departments. Christina and Linus saw the problem first-hand when they worked at Huddinge municipality. At Gorilla, we back founders who know their customer’s problem from the inside, and we’re pleased to support Christina, Linus and Lenera Group as they build step by step,” says Petter Hattenbach, General Partner at Gorilla Capital.
