Gorilla Capital invests in BioCell Analytica
Gorilla Capital Fund III has made its 49th investment in BioCell Analytica — a Swedish green tech company providing analytical services to the water sector and other environmental actors.
Traditional water analysis measures individual substances. BioCell Analytica’s effect-based methods instead assess how chemical mixtures impact biological systems — giving drinking water and sewage treatment plants better insight into real safety and efficiency.
The company also supports environmental sector actors in evaluating new treatment technologies before major investment decisions.
“We are very happy to welcome Gorilla Capital as an investor in BioCell Analytica. The capital raised will help us bring the effect-based analysis to the market not only in Sweden but also the rest of the Nordics and the UK,” says Johan Lundqvist, co-founder.
“BioCell Analytica solves a concrete and important problem. The team has progressed with scientific depth and practical focus. Expansion follows validated need — not premature ambition,” adds Petter Hattenbach, Partner at Gorilla Capital.
Welcome to the Gorilla family, BioCell Analytica!
